More Goose Therapy

Armed with the new 40-150 lense for my camera I thought
I would combine phtography with my goose therapy today.
The statue is of Willie McCool, the astronaut from Lubbock that was in the Shuttle that
exploded over Lubbock. As you can see there are thousands of Canada Geese there.
These three were a little less timid and I was able to get them "tip toing" into the
water--although they don't have toes or tips the way they walk seems like
tip-toing to me.

Smile Guys!! They were not pleased that I didn't have any deer corn for them today.
Oops too close! "Everyone! Head for the Water!! And off they flew to the water.
They arrived here on November 3rd this year--they stay exactly 3 months.
On February 3rd we will notice their absence once again. They fly 2,000 miles to get here
carrying Humming birds under their feathers on their backs.
They are truly remarkable creatures.
