The House on Queen Anne Hill and the Pendleton Round Up

Picking up my puppy was one of the purposes of my trip but not actually my most important one. I went to visit my Aunt and Uncle. Uncle is my mother's youngest brother. They live in a glorious old house on Queen Anne Hill--a quite fitting place considering my aunt is from England originally.
After a dinner of Chicken Wellington, Auntie Pat gave us all a dance lesson. Karen and Jonathan were learning the Tango

I felt like I had gone around the world after eating Indian, Vietnamese, French and English food while there. Oh and then there was the BarBQ at the Qunicy Farmers Consumers Awareness Day--good old American! My cousin Shirley won the quilt show.

Next on the trip was to see the Pendelton Round Up with Scott, Jo and Dan, a friend of theirs who is a professor at Central Washington University. Jo was trying to point out a specific cowboy to me and said, " See there he is--the one in the white hat". I am still trying to find him :)

This cowboy was in first position when he pulled a chair out onto the field and sat down with his hrose to watch the other who were trying to beat him. Scott said, " He was watching his money."
