Erin is officially in Texas again!! She finished her job in Arizona and stopped in on her way to Ft. Worth. It is always great to see one of the kids!! With her were her two sidekicks, Aldous (the daschund)and Dante (the Italian Greyhound). When Dante got in Sooner's way she just put her nose between his back legs and flipped him. Dante was terrified of the Grandfather clock--oh and many many other things!

Houses to Sell in Lubbock

I have two houses to sell in Lubbock. The first one is my parents house. It has 1800 sq ft, and is a darling garden home. It has 3 bedrooms (or 2 bedrms and a study), 2 baths and a rear entry two car garage. There is an enclosed front garden. The house is located in Regal Park one block from the park. The yard is landscaped with topiary shrubs. It is in the Frenship School district. Elementary Crestview, Middle School Frenship Middle, and Frenship HS. A great home in a great neighborhood.

My Border Collie Puppy is here!!

The puppies are here. Mom's name is Kate. She is a great little mom. She had 9 puppies. Skye is the little brown and white female (I can't tell which one she is either). They all have four white legs, a white tip on the end of their tails and a white face and forehead. Kate is taking her motherly duties so seriously she can't even smile for the pictures. I go to pick up Skye in September.

The Pelicans

While down on the coast we couldn't help but notice damage still evident from Hurrican Ike last year. Around the Clear Lake Hilton, you could see where piers that surrounded the hotel, had been washed away. Posts from the now gone piers stuck up out of the water. The interesting thing about the posts though were the Eastern Brown Pelicans. They "decorated" each and every one.

They are endangered, and normally you only see them around the Louisiana coastline. Sometimes though, when moved by a hurricane, they will hang around for a year or so. There were pelicans everywhere. This handsome guy was on watch and waiting for dinner. When he finally left he would fly, dive into the water, eat his fish, and do it again--and again--and again. We watched him for 30 minutes. When we finally left he was still fishing.
